As a student of the College of Health Sciences (CHS), Danielle is not the typical student artist in residence! The Occupational Sciences major moved into Luther Manor in August 2019. While she lives here, she hosts bimonthly workshops for skilled nursing residents, including creating a Welcome Club featuring handmade greeting cards, and attends community events. Danielle has enjoyed her time in a senior living community, for both the practical experience and the chance to empower residents.

Her experience as CHS’s first student artist in residence was recently featured on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee website.
